Lee Blessing

Lee Blessing has written over thirty plays, including A Walk in the Woods (nominated for Tony and Olivier Awards and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize), Two Rooms, Going to St. Ives, Great Falls, A Body of Water, Thief River, Eleemosynary, For the Loyal and Cobb.  His newest play, Minneapolis/St. Paul, is scheduled to world-premiere next January at the New Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.  His work has earned two Steinberg/American Theater Critics Association awards as well as Obie, Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk and the Humanitas awards.  For more than a decade he headed Graduate Playwriting at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.  He is married to award-winning playwright and TV writer-producer Melanie Marnich.
