First First Draft

This program supports individuals who are committing to writing a full-length play for the first time. Staying inspired and keeping pen to paper is a challenge for every writer, but having a group of peers working towards the same goal can help writers get to End of Play.

Writers are asked to attend five bi-weekly meetings over a three month period. Participants share pages and support one another as they endeavor to complete a full-length play. The program facilitator meets with the group to moderate discussion, provide exercises when/if necessary and offer support.

Monday nights  7:00-8:00pm. October 9, 23 November 6, 20, and December 11

We will meet at GPTC’s classroom at 3260 Davenport Street in the Yates Illuminates building.

The program is offered for no fee. A brief conversation with program staff is required for admittance. Enrollment is limited.
