Lara directs and stage manages. Directing credits include: Mary Stuart, Operation Crucible, Lost Boy Found In Whole Foods, An Enemy of the People; Stop Kiss; A Winter Beauty; Mother, Tree, Cat; The Bear; Camelot; AD and ASM for the Omaha Community Playhouse production of Les Miserables. Staged reading directing credits; The Suburban Set, Detroit 67, Lost Boy Found In Whole Foods, The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabler and August: Osage County (co-director with Amy Lane); GPTC directing credits include: Washington Place, Permission, American Plaza; The Cell; Great Falls; Two Rooms; Boy Gets Girl, Losing Father’s Body, and Kill Floor. SM credits include: The GPTC ten years (2006-2015), including Voices from the Center 2014, Le Chat Noir 2011, Rabbit Hole 2010, Theresa Rebeck 2009, I Can’t Remember Anything with Tammy Grimes 2008 and Horton Foote Trip to Bountiful 2007; Lara has SM’d over 50 productions, events and conferences including: Mister Roberts; 12 Angry Men; The Crucible; The Sound of Music; Visiting Mr. Green; Always…Patsy Cline; Communicating Doors; The Dark of the Top of the Stairs; Wit; Seascape; The Santaland Diaries; Six Degrees of Separation; The Pillowman; Rabbit Hole; The Complete Works…; Othello; Richard III; Antony and Cleopatra; The Grass Harp; and the Aksarben Coronation Ball 2002-2016. Lara recently directed Mary Stuart for the Brigit Saint Brigit Theatre. Currently, Lara is also Stage Managing The Merry Wives of Windsor for the Nebraska Shakespeare.
