Eliza Bent is a playwright, performer, pundit, and journalist. Plays: On a Clear Day I Can See to Elba (ICE Factory ’16), Toilet Fire, (TONY Critic’s Pick), Asleep at the Wheel (dir. Knud Adams), The Beyonce (2014 Payne Award for Outstanding Theatrical Event), The Hotel Colors (2013 Best 25 Stage Shows/L magazine), and Blue Wizard / Black Wizard (published by Samuel French.) Bent has been a SPACE on Ryder Farm writing fellow, a MacDowell Colony fellow, a Target Margin Institute fellow, an LMCC space grant recipient, and a New Georges Audrey resident. MFA in playwriting Brooklyn College where Bent also teaches.
