Dawn Trook lives in Merced, California, where she teaches writing at the University of California and develops and produces community-engaged theater as well as other new performance. Recent roles include Flo in "Picnic" and Comenius in "Coriolanus." This fall, she will be directing "Top Girls" for Playhouse Merced. She can also be seen as her alter-ego, Sweetie, a children's character who teaches science through cooking.
