Nick Zadina

Nick Zadina is from Omaha, Nebraska and has been working in the community for years as a training specialist who utilizes theatre as an educational tool.  As the Artistic Director of a local non-profit called Respect, he wrote over a dozen plays to accompany educational programming about healthy relationships.  Nick presently works full time as a Training Specialist at Project Harmony, the child advocacy center that serves the Omaha area.  There he writes and conducts trainings to deepen understanding around collaboration, family engagement, and trauma.  Over the past five years he has trained across the country.  Nick has been practicing theatre for the past twenty years in Omaha and had his play, The Day Omaha Exploded, presented at the very first Great Plains Theatre Conference.  This play went onto be fully produced and won TAG and OEA awards for best new play.
