Emma Stanton

Emma Stanton’s plays have been developed and produced across the country, including with Roundabout Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, American Theater Company, Chicago Dramatists, New Dramatists, Luna Stage, Portland Playhouse, and at the 2017 Great Plains Theater Conference (MainStage). Honors: 2018 Premiere Play Festival (Current Finalist); 2018 National Playwrights Conference (Current Semi-Finalist); 2018 Bay Area Playwrights Festival (Current Semi-Finalist); 2017 National Playwrights Conference (Finalist); 2016 Susan Glaspell Award (Finalist); 2016 Jane Chambers Feminist Playwriting Award (Recipient); and the 2016 Princess Grace Playwriting Award (Recipient). Emma spent the 2016-2017 season developing her work at the Goodman Theatre (Playwrights Unit) and at New Dramatists (Princess Grace Fellow) and she is currently developing her work at Chicago Dramatists, where she is a Resident Playwright.
