Soup Chickens

By Jamie Lee Jaget

The play takes three generations of working-class women from Long Island and looks closely at the cycles of abuse and addiction passed from one to the next. The first half looks at Marti – a bright, vibrant, eighteen-year-old woman with all the potential and the secrets she keeps from the women she loves. The second half looks at what happens when these secrets are revealed post-mortem questioning if grief can lead to change.
