Jesse Alana Robkin is a Chicago playwright, dramaturg, teaching artist, and activist originally from the Pacific Northwest. She is a recent graduate of the University of Evansville (B.A. – Theatre Studies) and an alum of Jackalope Theatre Company’s Playwrights Lab with Calamity West, where she first developed AUSTIN’S HOME. Jesse’s other full-length works include THE CHAIN and THE FALL WILL WAIT. In addition to her writing, Jesse has served as literary assistant to Isaac Gomez at Victory Gardens Theater. She teaches playwriting workshops around Chicago and is a passionate advocate for transgender representation in theatre (and everywhere).
