Caity-Shea Violette (she/her) is an LA-based playwright and screenwriter whose work explores invisible disabilities, sexuality, and learning how to belong to yourself. She is a winner of the Jean Kennedy Smith Playwriting Award, Samuel French Off Off Broadway Festival, The Clauder Competition Gold Prize, Susan Glaspell Playwriting Festival National Award, National Partners of the American Theatre Playwriting Award, Gary Garrison National Ten-Minute Play Award, and others. Her work has been developed/presented at Roundabout Theatre Company, Portland Stage, The New Harmony Project, The Kennedy Center, Boston Playwrights Theatre, and more.
