A coming-of-age comedy about growing up poor, female, and Korean-American in 1990s Los Angeles.

When 14-year-old Christine’s impoverished family experiences her first period as an economic burden, she finds unexpected support from a pop-cultural icon who serves as her “period guide” through a universal and painfully awkward rite of passage.
