The Great Plains Theatre Conference Student Pass

The Student Pass offers a discounted housing option to provide an affordable way for student dramatists and dramaturgs to attend the GPTC.

Attending students can sit in on daytime PlayLab readings and contribute to their feedback sessions, go to evening PlayFest productions around the city, and participate in workshops taught by theatre educators and professionals from across the country.

There is also plenty of time during the week to spark relationships with like-minded dramatists, dramaturgs, directors, actors, and educators. The Student Cohort will have a few special lunches with guest artists, as well. They are a great opportunity for intimate conversation.

Costs for eight nights and seven days are $400 for a shared dorm room and a $150 registration fee that includes most meals and transportation. Volunteer opportunities may be available to waive the registration fee. (At the conference hotel, the Element Hotel at Midtown Crossing, private rooms are available for $840 for the week.)

If you are selected you will be contacted for payment.

Please use the form below to apply. A resume, bio, and brief essay are required. Space is limited, and applications are due by March 1, 2020.
