Sophie Weisskoff

Enda and Oona 

 

Sophie Weisskoff is a Brooklyn-based playwright. Her plays include Queen of Sock Pairing (produced by Red Tape Theatre), and Enda and Oona (developed with The Hearth, O’Neill semi-finalist, Leah Ryan’s FEWW honorable mention). She was a dramaturg and text contributor for [50/50] Old School Animation (presented at The Public Theater’s Under the Radar Festival, part of Helen Shaw’s “Best Theater of 2019” top ten list.) She has received an Edward F. Albee Fellowship and a Rona Jaffe Foundation Graduate Fellowship. She is pursuing her MFA in Playwriting at Brooklyn College. She is working on an essay collection about concussion.
