Jennie Webb is an independent LA playwright in residence at Rogue Machine Theatre and Theatricum Botanicum, where she runs workshops and the new play program, Botanicum Seedlings. Her works have been produced locally (most recently by Inkwell Theater, Santa Monica Rep and Green Light Productions), on stages across the country and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; supported by programs including The Playwrights Center’s PlayLabs, Great Plains Theatre Conference, National Winter Playwrights Retreat, Virginia Avenue Project, Moving Arts MADlab, Little Black Dress INK, 365 Women A Year and Road Theatre Summer Playwrights Festival; and published by Heinemann Press and Indie Theater Now. She is currently a member of the Playwrights Union, EST/LA Playwrights Unit and PlayGround-LA writer’s pool, and on the Artistic Committee of the Blank Theatre’s Living Room Series for new plays.
