Carrie Barrett’s plays have been produced or developed at The National Playwrights Conference at The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, The Tens at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Humanitas/Center Theatre Group’s Play LA Workshop, Skylight Theatre Company (LA), Sideshow Theatre (Chicago), Kitchen Dog Theatre (Dallas), Gotham Stage Company (NYC), among others. Her comedy shows have been produced most notably at i.O. Theatres (Chicago & LA), The Hollywood Improv, SketchMelt by Nerdist (LA), Second City Chicago Unhinged, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Piccolo Spoletto Fringe and Chicago Sketch Fest. She is a proud member of Dramatist Guild and the LA collective The Playwrights Union. All this while maintaining a very active Instagram account!
