My name is Josiah Turner, a graduating senior at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point progressing toward my Bachelor of Arts in Drama. I’ve recently switched majors from a BFA in Acting to focus more on playwriting, what has time and time again proven itself to be my true passion. The transition has been mostly smooth, and I’m steadfast in my decision knowing that only in throwing myself wholeheartedly into my work can I truly strive for greatness. The Great Plains Theatre Conference offers an excellent opportunity for me to get hands on experience in the field that I might not have gained until I continue my studies at a Masters Program next year. So to say I’m excited about my involvement is an understatement.
