Andrea Hart

Andrea L. Hart is a writer, director and performer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her productions have been listed as one of the “10 Most Memorable Moments in Art and Entertainment” and garnered a “Best New Theater Company” award. Her latest play, “dark is a different beast” premiered to sold-out houses in San Francisco in 2016. Her work has been supported by grants from Puffin Foundation West, Theater Bay Area, Venturous Theater Fund and has been developed at Great Plains Theatre Conference, the MacDowell Colony and CounterPulse in San Francisco. She was a semi-finalist for the Eugene O’Neill Theater Conference and the Bay Area Playwrights Festival. Her devised piece, “Skinned,” was most recently performed at the #AmericanAF Festival at New Ohio Theater in NYC. Her experimental short films have been official selections at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival and the Columbus International Film and Video Festival.
