Franky D. Gonzalez
Franky D. Gonzalez is a playwright based in Dallas-Fort Worth where his scripts have been staged regularly since 2011 with various groups and companies, most recently with Nouveau 47 in Dallas for his play Gift of da Maggies in December 2017. For 2018 his short play I’ll Tell You at Sunrise was selected to be presented in the Mid-America Theatre Conference Playwright’s Symposium in Milwaukee. Another short play, The Final Battle, will be performed in Dallas by Camp Death Productions in April. Franky’s work will also be read as a part of the Nuestras Voces Latino Playwriting Festival this June with the Repertorio Español in New York City. A proud member and ambassador for the Dramatists Guild Dallas-Fort Worth region, Franky helps to organize events and write Dallas-Fort Worth regional reports for the Dramatist magazine. He is honored to be included in the 2018 Great Plains Theatre Conference.
