Even Flowers Bloom in Hell, Sometimes
By Franky D. Gonzalez

An unnamed man is sentenced to 25 years in prison. As the years pass and the visits become less and less frequent, the prisoner becomes more and more consumed by his own bitterness. An exploration at the modern-day prison system and its inmates in America, “Even Flowers Bloom in Hell, Sometimes” tells the story of one man’s discovery, that the true prison isn’t the prison built from brick, but rather, the prison of one’s own making, and finally leaving requires more than serving time.
