Alice Reagan

Alice Reagan is a New York-based freelance director.  Recent: Hir by Taylor Mac (Shakespeare & Company); Grounded by George Brant (Dobama Theatre); Elliot, A Soldier’s Fugue by Quiara Alegría Hudes (Profile Theatre); Jackie by Elfriede Jelinek (Boom Arts); Or, by Liz Duffy Adams (Shakespeare  Co.); The Miser by Molière (Brave New World); Nomads by Julia Jarcho (Incubator Arts Project); I Came to Look for You on Tuesday by Chiori Miyagawa (La MaMa).  She has directed many plays by María Irene Fornés, including: Promenade, Enter THE NIGHT, What of the Night?, Drowning, Abingdon Square, and The Office.  Alice is Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Directing at Barnard College, where she founded and curates New Plays at Barnard, a commissioning program that brings women-identified writers to the college.  Through this program, she has directed new work by LM Feldman, Dipika Guha, and Gab Reisman.  MFA: Columbia.  alicereagan.com
